South Korean actress Park Ji-hyun has made International Emmy history, becoming the first South Korean actress to be nominated for Best Performance by an Actress at the International Emmy Awards.
Park was nominated for her role in You and Everything Else, which follows two childhood friends with a complicated relationship from their school days into their early 40s. Produced by Kakao Entertainment, the drama premiered on Netflix in September 2025 and won Best Drama and Best Screenplay at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards.
Park was also nominated earlier this year for Best Actress (Television) at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for her role as Cheon Sang-yeon.
Park is nominated alongside Mona Mina Leon of Belgium for Holy Sh!t, Bárbara Mori of Mexico for Lucca’s World and Sheridan Smith of the United Kingdom for I Fought the Law.
