Loomi Entertainment Group (LEG), an AI-powered entertainment company, unveiled The Nine-Tailed Fox’s Revenge Marriage, its first Korean-language Loomi Original, at ContentAsia LIVE 2026 in Bangkok on Aug. 26. The romance, revenge and fantasy series is fully AI-generated using Imaginary, LEG's proprietary cinematic AI platform. It will launch on the Loomi Mobile App in September 2026 and will also be distributed in South Korea through KT Studiogenie.

LEG noted on its website, "Our vision is to build a new generation of entertainment powered by technology, creativity and collaboration...By combining human creativity with innovative production capabilities, we hope to unlock more opportunities for original storytelling at scale." [LEG]

A first look at the series is available on their website. The approximately 10-minute preview is presented in a vertical format designed for viewing on a phone, and I watched it.

I was blown away. In my opinion, this drama has moved past what was once referred to as the “uncanny valley,” a term used to describe that unsettling feeling when an AI-generated person looks almost human but still feels slightly off. The Nine-Tailed Fox’s Revenge Marriage blows right past that.

The only thing that might still be considered “uncanny” is that everything, including the supernatural special effects, is almost too perfect. The blood color and the way it splatters, the characters’ soft, dewy skin, even the lighting all have a polished quality that real-world production rarely achieves so flawlessly.

It is missing some of the messiness that comes with practical effects, layers of stage makeup, physical sets and real people. It feels like they have overcome the creepy, almost-human effect, but created a new challenge: everything looks just a little too perfect, if that makes sense.

But the writing and plot were exciting and dramatic, and the story flowed well. I was pulled into the characters almost immediately and genuinely enjoyed the preview. Now I think the challenge is making these AI-generated worlds a little more flawed and imperfect enough to feel real.

Combining romance, revenge and fantasy, The Nine-Tailed Fox's Revenge Marriage full series will be available on the Loomi Mobile App in September 2026 and also distributed in South Korea through their partnership with KT Studiogenie, a Korean content company.
