A Shop for Killers Season 2 Holds No. 1 as New Dramas Shake Up the K-Drama Buzz Rankings

A Shop for Killers Season 2 held onto the No. 1 position in Good Data Corporation’s latest TV-OTT drama buzz rankings, updated on August 11, 2026. The Disney+ action series captured 16.06% of the week’s total drama buzz, remaining at the top even as its share declined from 20.07% the previous week.

Spooky in Love moved up one place to No. 2 with 12.88% Buzz Share, while Our Sticky Love made a strong debut at No. 3 with 11.48%. Two other new dramas also entered the Top 10 this week, with Flex x Cop 2 arriving at No. 5 and My Bias, My Boss at No. 6.

Unlike television ratings, the FUNdex rankings measure online conversation across news articles, blogs, social media, online communities, and video platforms, providing a snapshot of which dramas audiences are talking about most.

Note: FUNdex measures online discussion rather than television ratings or streaming views. Dramas and performers may appear in the rankings based on buzz generated by trailers, promotional events, casting news, interviews, and other online activity, including before a drama officially premieres. 🆕 New means new to this week’s Top 10 table, not necessarily a newly released K-drama or a performer making their debut.

What’s New This Week

Three dramas entered the TV-OTT Top 10 this week, and all three debuted in the upper half of the rankings.

Our Sticky Love made the strongest entrance at No. 3 with 11.48% Buzz Share, followed by Flex x Cop 2 at No. 5 with 8.34% and My Bias, My Boss at No. 6 with 6.89%.

The performer rankings also saw several new names enter the Top 10. Jung Hae-in and Ha Young debuted at No. 4 and No. 5 for Our Sticky Love, while Ahn Bo-hyun entered at No. 6 for Flex x Cop 2. Kim Min appeared at No. 8 for A Shop for Killers Season 2, and Kim Hye-jun added a second Top 10 appearance at No. 10 for My Bias, My Boss.

Three Takeaways From This Week’s Rankings

🚀 A Shop for Killers Season 2 stays on top, but the gap is narrowing

A Shop for Killers Season 2 remained at No. 1 for a second consecutive week, but its Buzz Share fell from 20.07% to 16.06%. At the same time, Spooky in Love climbed to No. 2 with 12.88%, bringing the difference between the top two dramas to just 3.18 percentage points.

The Disney+ series still holds the lead, but this week’s numbers suggest the field is becoming more competitive.

🔄 Our Sticky Love arrives with immediate momentum

Our Sticky Love entered the drama rankings at No. 3 with 11.48% Buzz Share, making it the highest-ranking new title of the week.

Its cast also made an immediate impact on the performer rankings. Jung Hae-in debuted at No. 4 with 4.21% Buzz Share, while Ha Young entered at No. 5 with 3.85%. That combination gives the Netflix drama a strong opening across both the title and performer rankings.

📈 Spooky in Love is generating some of the strongest cast-driven buzz

While Spooky in Love sits at No. 2 in the drama rankings, its two leads occupy the top two positions in the performer rankings. Park Eun-bin rose to No. 1 with 6.08% Buzz Share, while Yang Se-jong moved to No. 2 with 4.61%.

That gives Spooky in Love the strongest one-two performer showing of the week and suggests that discussion around the drama is being driven heavily by its central performances.

Reading Between the Numbers

This week’s rankings show a much more competitive field than last week.

A Shop for Killers Season 2 remains No. 1, but its declining share, combined with the rise of Spooky in Love and the strong debut of Our Sticky Love, has compressed the top of the chart. Last week, the No. 1 drama held more than eight percentage points over second place. This week, less than five percentage points separate No. 1 from No. 3.

The performer rankings also reveal something the drama table alone does not. Spooky in Love may trail A Shop for Killers Season 2 in overall drama buzz, but Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong hold the top two performer positions. Meanwhile, A Shop for Killers Season 2 places three performers in the Top 10, showing that its conversation is spread across a broader portion of the cast.

Kim Hye-jun stands out for another reason. She appears twice in this week’s performer Top 10, ranking No. 9 for A Shop for Killers Season 2 and No. 10 for My Bias, My Boss. It is an unusual example of one performer generating enough buzz from two separate dramas to rank for both at the same time.

With three new dramas entering the Top 10 and several established titles losing ground, the rankings appear to be shifting from a relatively stable field into a much more fluid one. The next update should show whether this week’s newcomers can maintain their momentum once the initial surge of attention begins to settle.

Global Streaming Snapshot

K-dramas claimed four spots in Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English Shows for the week of August 3 to August 9, 2026.

Spooky in Love was the highest-ranking K-drama at No. 3 with 3.3 million views. Newcomer Our Sticky Love followed closely at No. 5 with 3.2 million views, while Agent Kim Reactivated ranked No. 7 with 2.3 million views. The East Palace remained in the Top 10 at No. 10 with 1.5 million views.

Global RankK-DramaViews
3Spooky in Love3.3 million
5Our Sticky Love3.2 million
7Agent Kim Reactivated2.3 million
10The East Palace1.5 million

This week shows especially strong crossover between Korean online buzz and global Netflix viewing. Spooky in Love ranked No. 2 in the latest FUNdex drama rankings while placing No. 3 globally on Netflix, and Our Sticky Love debuted at No. 3 on FUNdex while entering Netflix’s global chart at No. 5.

Agent Kim Reactivated and The East Palace, meanwhile, no longer appear in the FUNdex Top 10 but continue to draw substantial international audiences on Netflix. That contrast is a useful reminder that domestic online conversation and worldwide streaming activity do not always move in parallel.

Beyond Netflix

See You at Work Tomorrow! remained among Prime Video’s most-watched non-English original series worldwide for the week of August 3 to August 9. It ranked No. 3 among non-English Prime Original series, down one place from No. 2 the previous week.

Unlike last week, however, the South Korean drama did not appear in Prime Video’s overall Top 10 Original series ranking, which combines English and non-English titles.

Prime Video RankingSee You at Work Tomorrow! Position

Non-English Prime Original SeriesNo. 3

The shift follows a similar change in the Korean buzz rankings. After ranking No. 4 on FUNdex the previous week, See You at Work Tomorrow! dropped out of this week’s TV-OTT drama Top 10. Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun also dropped out of the performer Top 10.

Even with those declines, the drama’s continued No. 3 position among Prime Video’s non-English originals shows that it is still attracting a meaningful international audience after its domestic buzz has begun to cool.

Looking Ahead

With A Shop for Killers Season 2 holding the No. 1 position for a second consecutive week, the next rankings will show whether it can maintain its lead as the gap at the top continues to narrow.

Spooky in Love is now the closest challenger after moving up to No. 2, while Our Sticky Love made an especially strong debut at No. 3. With only 1.40 percentage points separating those two dramas, both are well positioned to challenge for the top spot if their momentum continues.

Our Sticky Love is particularly worth watching after its strong showing across both FUNdex and Netflix, where it also entered the Global Top 10 Non-English Shows at No. 5. Spooky in Love likewise continues to show strength across multiple measures, ranking No. 2 in drama buzz while Park Eun-bin and Yang Se-jong hold the top two performer positions.

Meanwhile, Flex x Cop 2 and My Bias, My Boss both entered the drama Top 10 this week, making the next update an early test of whether their debut-week buzz can translate into sustained attention.
